For serving of 4

1 cup of quinoa

2 cups of water

½ cup of rice milk

1 tablespoon of maple syrup

Salt

Pineapple bits,

Toasted shredded coconut

½ teaspoon of cinnamon

½ cup of chopped apples, pears, and/or raisins

Rinse and drain 1 cup of quinoa.

Over high heat, place the quinoa in the saucepan

Add water and salt and boil them

Reduce heat to simmer for 5 minutes

Add the ½ cup of fruits and continue to simmer until all water is absorbed

Serve with rice milk and drizzle maple syrup

Add pineapple bits and coconut shreds and cinnamon
